What to look for.
Days 1-5
Drain, inspect, sound, demo, and prep.
Equipment is shut down, valves are photographed, the pool drains, and the surface is sounded for hollow spots. Chip-out can run one to three loud days; hydro-jetting changes that rhythm.

Coping, tile, surface, and fill.
Coping sets the height, tile tucks under it, and the surface follows. Plaster is usually a one-day apply-and-fill. Pebble is applied, then acid-washed the next morning before fill.

Startup is part of the calendar.
