How many gallons is a 16 x 32 pool?
At a 5 ft average depth, roughly 19,100 gallons: 512 sq ft x 5 ft x 7.48. Shallower averages drop it fast — the same pool at 4.5 ft averages about 17,200.
Why does my pool store's number differ from mine?
Usually the average depth — most people overestimate it — or a freeform shape treated as a rectangle. The satellite measurement resolves both: real shape, your stated depths.
Does the spa count in my volume?
If it shares water with the pool, yes — dose the combined system. Attached spas typically add several hundred to a couple thousand gallons.
